Icons not working.

have co**ed it up.
The icons for CD/DVD/Floppy on the desktop are no longer working in KDE, although they still work in Gnome.
I was experimenting with alterations to the desktop and after none of the icons would work when I click on them.
I am running SuSe 9.2 pro.
Anyone got any ideas as to how to get them working again as I made that many alterations I cannot backtrack.

call up the KDE menu and drap the application on th desktop, KDE will identify the existing icon and you will have the opportunity to delete. Alternativelyl delete all th icons and drag applications on to desktop.

To make it simple, I'd just delete the old icons and right click on the desktop - create new --> link to device.

Not sure if that's the answer you're after or not.
