how to use suse to connect to vodafone 3g


Hi guys, i have a vodafone 3g usb device.

How do i use it on my suse linux? i plug in but theres no response from the device..

thanks

If you mean the Huawei E220, it should work out of the box with OpenSUSE 10.3; just configure it in YaST like a regular modem (works for me, anyway). However there is also a driver software from Vodafone for various 3G devices, maybe you could try that: https://forge.vodafonebetavine.net/p...dafonemobilec/
