I checked the version of the kdebase3 package on this server, and it's 3.5.1 (see below): ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp....1-18.i586.rpm
Maybe the update is in progress and not all packages have been replaced, yet.
Before you run the Software Managment module, refresh the source.
Do you think is safe to make a upgrade based on theses files you pointed to me ? I mean, I will not break anything ? I am a bit chicken to make upgrades without the YaST's help.
Will "rpm -Uvh *.rpm" do the job in the proper way ?
If you can't wait any longer, yeah, just do it with rpm. Download the whole stuff in a local directory and do it. Should work anyway. The gwdg source will not have mp3 support anyway.
I was just kidding. Sure I can wait a bit longer. But its nice to known it's safe to upgrade from the vanilla sources, at least for KDE, 'cause I do that once for the kernel and my system never was like as before.
I've just updated using gwdg.de and although everything works fine, the repo is not yet complete. I had to remove kdebase-khotkeys for everything else to install.
