Its a mystery - the graphics should work with the i810 driver (which definately ships with SUSE) and you have enough RAM and HDD space.

Are you using mixed RAM? Is some of the RAM bad?

Perhaps the OpenSUSE install disks are not all they should be?
Perhars you should try another distro?

A clue for you

I dont know if it could help you to help me.

I used Knoppix a lot of time on many computer and it always started with out advertising.

But on this computer I got this message on the start up:

Quote:
You passed an undefined mode number.
Press <RETURN> to see video modes available, <SPACE> to continue or wait 30 sec.
If I it <RETURN> I got a list of video modes.

Exept this message Knoppix run very well on my computer.

Do I can fix a better video mode for SUSE?

OK... video modes are set in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

And what can I do about the problem than I dont have root password and I dont have user login and password?
