how to install new sofware on suse sled 10

every time i try to install software on my new computer it keep coming up with an error message asking for a disk to be input. (media change). except the thing is i got the laptop brand new and it did not come with a disc.
can anybody please help me.

SLED 10 is based on opensuse 10.1 so I have to do it out of my memory ,because a long time ago that use opensuse 10.1
SLED 10 is the Enterprise desktop version of opensuse as you know.
If you start yast>software you get a few option one is community repositories what is the content of this option ?
If you start up software management is there on the top a option Configuration what is again the content of this option ?
A other option is on line update did you configure this.
Did you buy with support ?
