Post how to identify a disk is a local or SAN.


Hi Friends,

is there any way to find out whether a disk is attached to the server locally or from the SAN Box .

Does the output of `mount' give you the info you need?

no chance with mount command. i want to identify which disk is from san and which is local.

How do the device file names look for each type in df output?
