how do i change the default gnome footprint icon

I removed SUSE's custom menu bar and put the default gnome menu bar on my upper panel. I would like to change the footprint icon to the suse icon. I changed the gnome icons in /opt/gnome/share/pixmaps to the suse icon but the menu is still showing the footprint. Anyone know how to change this?

Not sure what the icon name/location is in your distro, but in mine, the logo is /usr/share/pixmaps/gnome-logo-icon-transparent.png

I added to /usr/share/pixmaps since it wasn't there. It still didn't change it though. Like I said above, I changed that file in /opt/gnome/share/pixmaps first. Any other suggestions?

If you haven't shutdown the machine after you've done this, you will need to restart the panel

killall gnome-panel

. The panel will restart itself. If you have already done this, I can't think of anything else to tell you, except to ask you what icon have you changed/moved - you didn't mention which icon.
