Smile gcc and exit()

//what can i do if my gcc compiler reports me an error when compile a program with the exit function?
is there any other function to replace this one?

What is the error you are getting from the compiler?

exit is in stdlib.h did you include that (see man 3 exit)?

_exit is in unistd.h, you can use that if for some reason exit isn't found (see man 2 exit).
