dvd install problem continued

when i add the insallation sources ,,,there are 3 of em,,,,,packman, suse sources,,etc...and then when i do the zenith software updates,,like 107 of em... ii had to de-select kde money becuase of a conflict...okay,,then it started the installation,,but it stoppd about 2/3 of the way through the installation....install failed... any solutions to this..??? suse 10.1 64-bit

Did it give a specific error message or any other output?

it basically said installed failed...should have read more i quess..and then when i remove and add the installtion sources again,,,it will add some updates to zenith,,but when i click on zenith,,,it will say no updates...i don,t get it...i now downloaded the 32 bit version of 10.1... the reason i asked about installing from the gui earlier as root...a article i read said that these problems were no longer there.... but no one will tell me how to log onto the gui as root..i have asked here.
