DNS server with yast2


I yust setup a dns server with yast2 and it works fine for domain names outside my lan but when i try to configure local hostnames to resolve i don't find then

what i mean is i have enter the correct data through configuration but it doesn't resolv

pls help me

Mate have you told your client machines your DNS ip address!

If not then it will not try to resolve the internal names.

OK go on to the console and do a dig

Code:
dig @127.0.0.1 somehost.somedomain
Give that ago to see if the service is resolving ok.
