Call for SuSE Mascot(think Tux)

As we all know most distros and much software have cutesy(in Anime we call those Chibi) versions of a mascot. In the case of general Linux we have Tux, Amarok has that Funky Monkey, GNU has a Baby GNU, Gentoo has their little Hornet, I think you get the idea.

It is high time SuSE gets a Chibi Icon Character, and I wish I had the talent to make him. As a base, I think Quincy from Fox Trot has the right stuff, the only issue is he is very 2d. If I had the talent I would love to make a nice mascot for SuSE based on our Chameleon in Chibi version.

So I guess this is a hopeful cry to people with talent loads better than mine to make one. Show us(the royal me) your version of the coolest looking little mascot guy for SuSE. Maybe we can even get him recognized by Novell, and you can be immortalized forever!

Sorry, little if any talent here either, but I do like the Geeko here . It has a slightly demented look that just seems "right".

IMO, he looks more like a t-rex than a geeko/chameleon, which the SuSE lizard is supposed to be a chameleon.
I wish I had artistic talent.

(shrug) Chacun à son goût. T-rex never looks particularly friendly/goofy to me (but then, I've never trusted that Barney character either. Hmmmmm...why do they keep having to get new kids on the show? ) and it *does* have the little chameleon gripping hands/feet/whatever and I like the Marty Feldman eyes. I think the only way you'll find what you really want is to sit with someone who can draw and do the police sketch artist thing--"No, he should be a little shorter and make the eyes a bit bigger....nope, too much...."
