Backporting 9.2 kernel 2.6 to 2.4?

Hello,

I'd like to install the latest SUSE linux on my PC but my graphic card drivers (powervr) don't support 2.6.x kernels. Is it very problematic to backport 9.2 to kernel 2.4? And is it worthwhile to install 9.2 and backporting instead of simply using 9.0?

Thanks

It's not terribly problematic if you don't mind compiling your own kernel. Just download 2.4.28 and compile and edit the grub config file.

Thanks. I'm now downloading the distro from BitTorrent (perfectly legal, isn't it?!) and I will try this.
