Update issues

Hi,

I have Suse personal 9.0 and want to upgrade to 9.1

When I select Yast to update via FTP, I get two dependency conflicts:
libusb 0.1.8-31 and mc 4.6.0-320 conflict.

What do you do to resolve this?

I went with the default setting sof the upgrade wizard and did not select any aditional packages.

Thanks,

Eduard

I can imagine evil solutions like "delete the offending libraries," but I don't know any better solutions.

mc is Midnight Commander, an old file manager which you probably don't use.

Do you have a lot of USB devices you really enjoy?

If I were stuck where you are, I think I'd use YAST to remove the two libraries. Then I'd run the update, and then I'd reinstall at least the USB library.
