Linux Login after format

I recently formatted my harddrive from Windows 2000 and installed Suse 9.1. I installed everything and now after restarting and completing installation, it is now asking me for a Linux login. I never entered a linux login during installation, so I dont know what to put. I tried leaving it blank and adding admin, but everything I do says incorrect. So, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to do for a linux login so I can use Suse officially.

you need to add users hit Crtl+Alt+F1 and login with username root, password whatever root password you supplied
and then
Code:
man useradd
and make yourself a user

Did you try root? And you really didn't enter any root login info during the install?

There were some errors returned from packages durring the install, which could be the cause of my issues, but I was never asked to select a login, or a root password. I reinstalled it, and the same errors returned, and it still asked me for a linux login, so I dont know what the problem is. And yes, I tried root for the login, admin, leaving it blank, /ROOT, ROOT, and almost everything else I could think of, and nothing happened. Soon it sent me to a message saying I had tried too fast, and it had been disabled for 5 minutes.
