Installing Mingw32-gcc on openSUSE 11.4

Recently, I put openSUSE on my netbook. All was good, however I use my netbook for development. This involves cross compiling with Mingw32, however Mingw32-gcc does not seem to be in the repositories. Is there a way I can get it?

When I first started using Linux I used openSuSE (10.3), however that was a while ago, and since I have used Debian based distros. Are there any major differences I should know about (I understand things like YaST, the menu, zypper, etc, but rather major differences in how things run).

I installed the binaries, however the command I use to use (i586-mingw32msvc-gcc) no longer works. Which command would it be?
