How to edit /etc/fstab in OpenSuse

Hi all

Can anybody tell me how to edit (gedit) the fstab file in OpenSuse 11.4 - remembering that I am not a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon? Spent most of this afternoon attempting to have the system automatically mount 2 drives, without any success at all. it was easy in mandriva and linux Mint 11, but the same rules dont seem to apply. (I've chosen OpenSuse because it seems to be the only one that recognises all functions of my (outdated) printer, a HP laserjet 3300.)

Help please.

regards

The most simple way, with the most easy to use editor,

1) su
2) leafpad /etc/fstab

( And of course first do # zypper in leafpad : If it's not installed.)

..
