10.0 or 10.0 beta 4


which is the newer version 10.0 or 10.0 beta4 ,im not trying to ask a dumb question,im still very new to linux...thanks

dont quote me cause im not sure but i think the final release is out. i think thats what i got from other threads.

i think the order is as follows: beta, release candidate (RC), official release. so 10.0 beta4 is the 4th beta in the series, and it is older than the RC1, which is older than the 10.0. If it doesn't have anything like beta or RC after it, it's probably the newest release. somebody correct me if i'm wrong.

im downloading the final now cause i went to irc channel and omg about no help telling me how to upgrade from 10 beta to 10 final so im reburning the cds yes final release was today to answer the first question.

Is there a difference between RC1 and the recently released OSS because I've already done a lot on my system including setting up Baghira?

If you are new, stick with the final release of Suse Linux 10, I wouldn't mess with betas yet.
