Why there is not installation procedure from booting?
Hi,
I ve just tried opensolaris 200805.
It has to option on boot :
text running
or graphical
I want to install on HD to check it, since
Graphical it tooks too long time to up,
I tried the the text option, I hopped that ther is a procedure to install,
Unfortunatly, firstly I need root password, so I can't go more
Suppose that I get a password, is there a command to start the installation whithout graphic interface?
The question now, is why there is not installation procedure (classic one) as another option for those who want to install directly the on HD.

When you install a regular Solaris, you are also installing from a live distribution. The difference is just how lightweight is that live distribution.
