Unable To Locate Needed Headers And Libraries For Solaris Port To Fedora

I'm in the process of porting a very old Solaris system to Fedora 14. I've found and installed 4 "xview" RPMs. It's helped a lot. But, I seem to be missing many, many server libraries. Any suggestions where I might be able acquire these, or the source to build? Appreciate the assist.

Strong suggestion -

1. If the "four RPM's" you found work - great.

2. Otherwise, if you find yourself having a lot of compile, link and/or runtime errors, then I'd strongly encourage you to simply re-write the GUI portions of your code; switching from (totally obsolete) "XView" to a library like GTK+ or Qt.

IMHO .. PSM

I totally agree and hope to do this. But, it's client controlled. If I get to a point where a "forced fit" is more costly than a re-write, I can sell it with valid justification.

But currently, I'm missing some of the libraries such as "libpixrect.so". Any recommendation for getting this one?

Thanks
