Solaris 10 Boot File?

Hello,
Is there a file I can add commands in so that Solaris runs them when I boot it? Thanks.

Make a startup script in /etc/init.d and make a symlink to /etc/rc3.d/ and give it a start-up value (an "S" value).

By solaris10 ,i understand you mean opensolairs?
if so you can openup the ramdisk, /boot/x86.microroot
then in the microroot,go to lib/svc/methods/
You will find a host of files, depending on which part of the boot you need your manipulations,go ahead and edit that file, redo your stuff to get the ramdisk back...u should be done!!!

Although obviously related, OpenSolaris as a distribution is somewhat different from Solaris 10.
In particular the /boot/x86.microroot file isn't part of Solaris 10.

oh, its called the x86.miniroot-safe in solaris!!!!
my mistake!
The reason i said that it could be opensolaris is because i have seen a lot of ppl address it as S10,while they actually mean OS...

Code:
wificonfig -i ath0 connect ramsay-02d9
ifconfig ath0 dhcp
Which enables my wireless card and connects to my wireless network.

You don't need to run that script. Just enable nwam as you are on Solaris Express and the OS will figure it out itself after you give it a hint once.

I guess I'm a little "old school" on this one

Yes that's the "legacy" way of doing it, yet still supported though.
