Post Simple script to monitor POP3, SMTP service

I'm a newbie on the Unix. I have just installed qmail on solaris. I need to monitor the qmail services: pop3/imap, smtp, pop3s/imaps and smtps.

Anyone have script to do that things? Or guide me.

Thank.
