Sharing files between Vista and Solaris?


HI,

I had downloaded this huge file on my laptop and I want transfer this file over to the Solaris desktop PC..How can I possibly manage this?? This file is too big to fit on a CD or a even a USB flash drive..

SO how can I map a drive using Vista and Solaris?

If you 're networked you might use the program "Filezilla", that uses sftp file transfer, on the Windows side. But then again: what is the filesize...?

If both your laptop and the PC are on the same network, you can just transfer the file using FTP from the windows command line.

I use pscp to go from my windows to Solaris box.
