Are you running CDE or another graphic environment ?
Is this the standard screen lock or a custom program ?
Can you unlock it with the root password even when logged in under another account ?

Are there any clues in your user's account cde logs (~/.dt directory) ?
Did you change anything on the system file permissions, specially /usr/dt/bin/dtsession ?
Are you using non passwd/shadow authentication ?
Are you running X11/CDE remotely ?
What Solaris version are you using ?
