Replace the Solaris syslogd with a more "linuxy" one ...

Hi Guys,

I'd like to be able to split my logs in a more fine-grained manner,
like I do in linux

e.g.

Code:
*.=debug /var/log/debug
*.=info /var/log/info
In the man-page to the original I can't see a similar facility... sunsolve
doesn't have any info on this either...

[edit]
Ok, turns out it CAN be done :) ... found a reference on a
site for hardening solaris that explained the how.
[/edit]

Cheers,
Tink

Rrrright, but I still can't figure out how to split them
by severity rather than category :/

Cheers,
Tink
