Remote Administration on V40z

I am looking for best practices for remote administration of the Sun V40z system.

I usually use a ThinkLogical SCS320 serial connection server to do remote administration of my SPARC Sun systems. I was going to use this for the V40z with Solaris 10 x86, but it prefers using a LOM (Lights Out Management) connection.

I have read that it is necessary to use the "grub.conf" to set up at boot a remote connection. I just can't find good documentation in the Sun Big Admin area on the subject.

I was wondering if any one else is mananging any V40z by remote and how they are getting this done.

Thanks.
