Post processing application fails to build in OpenSolaris... dir.h issue

Hi

Where is dir.h supposed to live in a (O)Sol system...?

I have this application... http://www.dhondt.de/cgx_2.1.all.tar.bz2

This compiles cleanly undes Slackware, Arch... But when trying to build under (O)Sol, the build stops missing the dir.h header...

Do i need to install some package to get that header...?

BRGDS

Alex

EDIT :

In a Linux, this lives in /usr/include/sys/dir.h

I am not around my Solaris Box right now... does this exist in a Solaris box...? where...?

I believe <sys/dir.h> is obsolete and/or was conflicting with other use. Replace its reference(s) by <sys/dirent.h>.

Hi,

I hacked into the sources, and replaced all occurences of dir.h for dirent.h, tried to rebuild... no avail...

There were bon resolved references to DIR plus lots of other stuff... ( I do not have my solaris box around ), so I grepped for 'DIR' in /usr/include/sys/* and found nothing satisfactory so refer to...

Is it likely that the code must be patched to compile under Solaris...?

I thought that after having installed gcc stuff such problems would not happen...

BRGDS
