Question Need Help on Log Rotation.

Hi,

My requirement is that we have to keep logs for 6 Months.

I am not getting the option where I can set the duration for logs such as /var/adm/messages for 6 Months , in /etc/logadm.conf.

Please suggest.

well just looking at the logadm.conf manpage you have the -C option to keep so many so a tiny bit of maths says divide 6 months by the frequency of rotation, and keep that many files.
