kstat error

I'm getting kstat warnings on a Solaris 8 machine that refer to a hot-swappable internal hard drive removed almost two months ago. The warnings only started this morning. Why would this removed disk suddenly start causing problems?

(The removed disk was still listed in the "format" program, so I ran "cfgadm -c unconfigure c0::dsk/c0t1d0" to remove it from "format". I don't know if this will get rid of the warnings.)
