Is it possible to run a sparc program in a PC????


hi friends.
i have a program that has compiled in sparc station but i need to run it in a PC. Does anyway exist to executing that program in the X64/86 with any OS?
i haven't access to source of program and i have to run it in a PC. but i can install proportional operating system on my PC.
Can i use brandZ container?

Brandz allows running programs within the same architecture but x86 and SPARC are absolutely incompatible. You would need a SPARC simulator and a SPARC H/W virtual machine. There are several simulators available but I doubt anything that mimic the hardware is available. Qemu is probably the closest but doesn't boot Solaris (yet?).

i use simics for simulating sun sparc and i can install sol-10 and 9 successfully. i suggest this application, try it this is best emulator that i found. but i need better performance to presenting my program. what do you think about "Quick transit"?

Both simics and Quick Transit are proprietary closed source commercial products. As I'm not one of their customers nor do I know any of them, I have no opinion about these emulators.
