Hi,
I 've receive solaris sytsem for intel, I install it, unfortunately it removed all my linux partition. So I install again in other partition the debian, so now I have to system on my machine, but debian didn't give me the menu for Solaris at it did for other linux or Micro$$. Is there a document which explains how to do it.
So here 2 questions:
1. how to install solaris without removing the linux
2. How to tell linux to creat an appropriate boot for solaris in grub.
Distribution: Solaris 11.4, Oracle Linux, Mint, Debian/WSL

You should have watched carefully the installation dialog. It certainly warned you about this deletion.

Just by telling the installer you want to preserve existing partitions.

Linux bundled grub cannot boot Solaris, you need to install Solaris enhanced grub which know ufs. Eventually, you have to manually add the linux entry in the menu.lst file.
Thank you, now I have 2 systems on the machine, Debian is last install, so the grub installed belongs to debian, I want to access to the solaris too!!!
I have to add something in menu.list of grub,
to boot linux with just add where is the kernel like /boot/kernel image
what is the equivalent on solaris, where to find the kernel
Suppose I install 2 version of solaris v1 and v2, how to tell this

Unfortunately, as I already wrote, the debian grub cannot boot Solaris. You need to reinstall Solaris grub, the simplest way possibly being by reinstalling Solaris.

Indeed, that pass the control to Solaris grub which then allows to boot Solaris, saving a grub reinstallation.
I didn't thought about this way to recover Solaris grub. Thanks for the tip !
To abd_bela: beware to replace the disk/partition information [here (hd1,0) for reddazz] by the correct one for your own setup and remember that grub numbering starts with 0 (your first hard disk controller is "hd0", your second primary partition is ",1").
