How to update Solaris automatically ?


Hi,

On linux machins I update them with yum-this is a program that finds new RPMS relevant to a spacific machine and them updates the machine automatically.

what is the equivilent in solaris world ?

for Sun's package, you can upgrade with either installing recommended patches or live upgrade (http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/features.../using_lu.html)
for freewares:
blastwave's "pkg-get -u"
