Xming works great......depending on your network speed. I use it over a t1 and it's a bit slow so I resort to CLI.

use "Xlaunch" and durning the setup select single window and make sure you use "xdmcp" as the protocal. Oh yeah, also make sure to add "-once" the options so that if the window dies it will not try and restart over and over again.

Another good point for SSGD. It's a good performer. It's even usable over dialup... Just used it last night from home (where I only have dialup) to test a possible problem with a client's server.

i think that xmanager and xconnectpro are the same softwares with different apparent

hi
i love this topic


i am using the xming to remote access to solaris. the connection established successfully but a few problems accrued.
look at the following images:

first and third pictures are Xming environment and another pictures captured from xconnect-pro software
what is the reason of this color bollix? how to i can solve this problem?

another problem related to the mouse wheel. how to i can configure mouse in Xming? how to i can create the middle button emulation?
