DC++ doesnt work in VirtualBox + WinXP. Help?

I have Solaris build 105 and VB 2.1.2 and WinXP_SP2. When I install DC++ 0.7091 in WinXP, I get an error msg:

"Kan not open TCP/TLS port. File transfer will not work until you close those apps that use the TCP/TLS port."

In passive mode I can see and download files. Download speed seems to be correct. But how do I solve this TCP/TLS port issue? What does it mean? Anyone has hints or pointers, I can investigate further?

Ok, Ive solved it. In VB, I set the NIC to "Host interface" instead of "NAT" and everything worked. Opened the ports.
