compiler locations

I am early days in my solaris migration and have installed the sunstudio compiler.
I noticed this has not changed the old
"/usr/ucb/cc: language optional software package not installed"

I noticed that this script exports some lib locations,
is this now a deprecated utility or should I make the appropriate links here and there
to get this to work?

Is this advisable or do I just export CC where needed?

what do you do?

Remove /usr/ucb from your PATH, it is certainly deprecated and irrelevant.

Have /opt/SUNWspro/bin in your path if you want to use Studio, or /usr/sfw/bin if you want/need to use gcc.
