"Cheese" Snapshot only- no video

Is anyone using Cheese in one of the latest development builds?

I d/l and installed Cheese on Build 134 in an attempt to get my webcam (Logitech WebCam Pro 9000) going on the OpenSolaris portion of my laptop. I had seen some reports of bugs with gstreamer since build 117. Cheese activates the camera and takes multiple snapshots fine but I can't get it to take a video.

I am able to make videos from the command line:
Code:
gst-launch v4l2src ! video/x-raw-yuv,width=320,height=240 ! ffmpegcolorspace ! jpegenc ! avimux ! filesink location=osug-1.avi
, so I know that it is not the camera itself.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It looks like cheese isn't yet operational, at least with our webcams.

Thanks for the reply jlliagre, perhaps it may be fixed in 2010. I can add that Cheese and the webcam(audio from a headset) work on the PCLinuxOS 2009 side of my laptop (Lenovo R61i).
