Hi
Can you clarify part3 in the recovery :
Briefly short-circuit the point with the USB connector housing (ground), the computer will see the x96 max plus and the firmware will start.
I tried it last night but it didn't work...at least from the Microsd... I will try USB (I think this how I made it working with CoreElec that currently is running -Emmc install)

These items are needed only for recovery. if you have android installed, you only need to activate multiboot.
If you already have CoreElec running when you insert the sdcard, it should boot the system from the sdcard.
paragraph 3 says about.

Thanks a lot for the photo.
I did put my sdcard and it was totally ignored. I will try 1st chance I get to use the USB port.
It seems that there are an infinite amount of X96 max plus variants/revisions... I think I am Q2 revision so none of the usual tutorials work...strangely CoreElec works perfectly...and it did from day 1 after I loaded it via USB
