Hello,

I made 3 install iso's on 3 CDW. The 3rd install disk wasn't asked for. Do you know what it contains?

KDE international packages, part 2 of extra and testing. This page tells you what's on each CD.

Thanks that was fast.

Those extras, if I want everything other than KDE international, should I somehow invoke the 3rd disk?

After you've done your installation, you can start Slack, mount that CD and just install the packages you want from the extra directory. There is a file called PACKAGES.TXT in the extra directory and it gives descriptions of the packages you can find there.

HTH.

The default kernel (2.4.33.3) now contains SATA support, so you should be OK. If you want to use 2.6.x, then use one of the 2.6 kernels. I think they both have SATA support as well, but I'm not certain.

The kdei directory just contains packages which give you support for various languages. I don't even use the British English package in there.
