Slackware-current (x86): Cannot run cryptsetup when usbboot.img booted
Hi Forum,
I am trying to make a network install of Slackware (x86) current, so I booted a relatively recent usbboot.img (kernel 4.19.66-smp). For the record, instead of writing it to an USB key, I booted it from grub - I, however, do not think that it matters.
After booting I can login as root.
Then, I would like to fully encrypt /dev/sda, so before doing anything (setting up swap and partitions) I want to run cryptsetup.
This fails with libcryptsetup.so.12 missing (and indeed, such an .so is not part of the initrd.img).
Is this a bug? If not, how can I achieve what I would like to do?
Thank you for any insight in advance.
