Don't be spreading "FUD" like this....thx
Nobody said that anything was installed by default. Don't try to twist my words around. Lilo is the default bootloader for Slackware.

From the Slackware website: http://www.slackware.com/install/setup.php

CONFIGURE
This option takes you through the most important of the configuration process. That is, the root password, LILO configuration, network configuration (using netconfig), kernel installation, X setup, timezone, and a few other settings. You may want to take a look at the Configuration Page for some additional help.
You ought to take your own advice and stop wasting people's time with misinformation and silly comments. ...thx

Ah, I see this is STILL going on....

But i don't subscribe to it anymore, 'cuz arguing with theses people is like wrestling a pig...Eventually, you realize they like it.

Don't get suckered in Randux. Ain't worth it.

This thread has so many misstatements and outright bull that it isn't information anymore.

Yeah, I was just hoping to clear up as much mud as I could for any of the new guys who come along like you guys did for me.

It seems like life was so peaceful until recently
