Is there any log of what install packages failed?

I am installing Slackware and two packages failed (fresh SW install on Disc 1). I was remiss by not writing down the names. So, this new Slackware install is cranking away and im wondering if im going to have bizarre problems creeping up once it finishes. Is there any log that reports this, or will it remind me which packages failed at the end?

I got the ISO's off bittorrent, so ill re-burn the disk at a slower speed and try again if I have to.

unless your install dies, and wont boot I would just get the packages (if needed) from slackware's packages site, or linuxpackages.net

i don't know of any install log, but you can compare what is on the CD vs. the contents of /var/log/packages

Code:
ls /var/log/packages > ~/whatpkghave
ls /mnt/cdrom/slackware/*/* | grep tgz > ~/allPkgsCD1
diff whatpkghave allPkgsCD1 > pkgCompare
or something like that.

If you used the "install everything" option and want an easy way to do it, just install slackpkg from /extra and use it to find and install the missing packages.

Uncomment a mirror in /etc/slackpkg/mirrors and run slackpkg update

I always blacklist all of the kde-i18n and koffice-l10n packages with the command slackpkg blacklist kde-i18n and then slackpkg blacklist koffice-l10

then run slackpkg install slackware
it will search to see what packages haven't yet been installed and will install them for you.

You should also blacklist kernel packages as you don't want those automatically installed or upgraded.
