Question 15.0 - Installation ISO fails to boot - kernel panics

This is a strange one to me.
I've been using Slackware since version 3.0
And in all these years, with many different types of computers.
This is the very first time I've encountered an installation ISO, DVD, CD, floppy, etc ... that kernel panics.

And what makes this especially puzzling is that this Slackware 15.0 Installation ISO on USB drive; boots on all my other machines. EVEN on another physically identical computer.
Same HP model, CPU, motherboard, memory, add-in cards, etc ...

The only difference I can find between these two computers, is the BIOS version and date.

Machine on which the Slackware 15 installation ISO boots:
Code:
root@ns:~# dmidecode | grep -A5 -e 'BIOS Information'
BIOS Information
	Vendor: Hewlett-Packard
	Version: 786F2 v01.59
	Release Date: 07/21/2011
	Address: 0xE0000
	Runtime Size: 128 kB
root@ns:~#
Machine on which the Slackware 15 installation ISO kernel panics:
Code:
root@et:~# dmidecode | grep -A5 -e 'BIOS Information'
BIOS Information
	Vendor: Hewlett-Packard
	Version: 786F2 v01.51
	Release Date: 08/01/2008
	Address: 0xE0000
	Runtime Size: 128 kB
root@et:~#
Before I try updating the BIOS of this machine.
Does anyone see something in the attached screenshot that indicates the problem is definitely not BIOS related ?

Thanks;

I see a "rip:0010:acpi_ex_system_memory_space" Maybe adding noacpi as a kernel option.

OP here,

Updating the BIOS was the fix.
