Question 10.2 Fails to load on Thinkpad

Trying to install Slackware 10.2 on my IBM Thinkpad 600X, no matter which kernel I boot, the error still lies in the same place. I have redownloaded the ISOs and checked the Md5 checksum 3 times. Here is the dmesg output for Kernel 2.4.31 bare.i

10.1 Installs fine. 10.2 Installs fine on my friend's 600E using my CD and CD-ROM
Any ideas?

So you've installed 10.1 on your 600X? If so what fs did you use for 10.1?
You can't install 10.2 on your 600X?

With 10.2 you intend using resierfs?

I would investigate this first -

Quote:
EXT2-fs error (device ramdisk(1,0)): ext2_check_page: bad entry in directory #515: rec_len is smaller than minimal - offset=0, inode=0, rec_len=0, name_len=0
EXT2-fs error (device ramdisk(1,0)): ext2_check_page: bad entry in directory #651: rec_len is smaller than minimal - offset=0, inode=0, rec_len=0, name_len=0

I had the same problem with my 600e trying to install 10.2
I used the floppy install and that worked perfect.

Look at my thread here:
