Raspberry pi 3 hangs on install

This is a Raspberry Pi model 3. I followed the steps for installing AArch64/ARM64. The boot seems to go fine, but it stops immediately after displaying "The Slackware Installer is Ready". The next line is supposed to say "Press Enter to Activate this Console", but I don't see that. I let it sit for half an hour, and still nothing. If I press Enter anyway, still nothing happens. The green LED on the board keep blinking, so it must be doing something or waiting for something. Any ideas?

Yes, followed everything. Also reflashed the SD card just in case. The only difference between the video and my case is that I am using a Pi 3B instead of Pi 4. I also have a 3B+, and that too gives the same result.

I figured out what it was. I had to press Alt-F1 to get to the console. Not sure why the instructions or the video didn't mention that.

in that case you might want to mark the thread as solved.
