Exaga, Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and SARPi?

You know anything about Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and how it might go with SARPi?

Thanks

After often thinking about treating myself to a RPi CM4, I've always come to the conclusion that if I'm going to spend that amount of cash on an ARM device then I'd rather it be on something a little more upmarket than another Raspberry Pi. I know a few people who have them but they don't run Slackware ARM. I'm unable to offer any solid answers to your question I'm sorry to say.

So, I really don't know how Slackware ARM might run on the RPi CM4. You might need to do some jiggery pokery with 'rpiboot' initially, after which I'd expect Slackware ARM would install and run without any difficulty at all, as it does on most hardware I know of. The real question for me would be; is the IO board supported? Without it, hmmm... it means you'll be rolling up your sleeves, putting your developers cap on, and getting stuck in to some hard work. Or you might be able to fudge around with Raspberry Pi OS to coerce the CM4 to facilitate Slackware ARM. To be honest, it's all guesswork and nothing substantial from me on the RPi CM4.
