Hy

I have install slack 12 and cannot run yahoo messenger!
This version use rh9.ymessenger-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm, i have converted in to .tgz.
this error get:

/opt/ymessenger/bin/ymessenger.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgdk_pixbuf.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
i have try to run it whit root privilege but dont run.
can somebody help me.....thanks

As the error message said, you need gdk-pixbuf package.

yes i found it! thanks
only for slack 11 exist this package but it work very good on slack 12.

Just use pidgin and save yourself the headache.

The best Yahoo Messenger is Gyachi,by far.It's the only messenger that lets you join the chat rooms.

Slackware 12 comes with Pidgin, it is a great IM client, it is what I use.
