Xfce


I did the installpkg for the Slack package, now how do I start it?

xwmconfig
Then type startx.
If you have a problem, install the package:
startup-notification from the L serie.

You don't have to be root to run xwmconfig

It is located in /usr/X11R6/bin/

xwmconfig is in the pkgtools package (which is in the "a" directory).

then you can change the link in /etc/X11/xinit

as root:
cd /etc/X11/xinit
unlink xinitrc
ln -s xinitrc.xfce xinitrc
