Unhappy X11 conf and fonts questions

Got slack installed and need to configure:

1. X windows as it was not done during install. What do i type at the command line to configure my X display?

2. Fonts - my fonts are too small and i want to change them. How can i do this please?

Thanks

It seems you're not running X yet, so I guess you're talking about console fonts.
You can change them using the command setconsolefont.
Also you could set a smaller framebuffer resolution that will give you big characters, you can set that in /etc/lilo.conf (the vga= lines) and apply it by running lilo (and rebooting after this).
