Do any of you use the slit? What can I do with it? I use fluxbox too and like a previous poster there are some minor annoyances. Like trying to save a window dimension then all related windows inherit, or grabbing the scrollbar and quickly scrolling up then realizing I've grabbed and moved the whole window to another desktop> let go while the top is off screen...

It's explained on Fluxbox's homepage (on the main page) but it's almost at the bottom and at the column at the right.

Dockapps are a small (useful|funny) applications which will 'dock' onto the Fluxbox Slit.
See screenshot.
Learn more about Slit.
That last sentences takes you to: http://fluxbox.sourceforge.net/docbo...chap-slit.html

It's a shame nobody refers to the documentation or do a simple search on the web to answer this... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...n+Google&meta=

I was just asking what is a program that uses the slit. I really don't care enough to go researching it. counterflameomitted

I think dockapps and slit is the same thing. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. So dockapps use the slit.
In *box it's called slit and in widowmaker it's dock.
