wine-ipx troubles

In brief.

to get completely rid from MS$ at home, i am replacing home boxes OS's with linux.
have some slacks and some debian.

in slack i installed 2.6.11.8, did nvidia install and compiled ipx support to kernel.
wine was installed before this was done.
children want play starcraft between each-other.
installed starcraft but it cant still find IPX protocol as supported one.

how will i teach linux, wine, starcraft -whatever finding and using IPX?
