i recompiled my kernel, and rebooted. i looked at the time, and it was wrong, so i tried to change it, and it says no program for adjusting the time is installed,.... and also, it says my sound is disabled, but it isn't. i can still listen to music and everything just fine. what can i do to fix the time?

You can try just adjusting the time in your BIOS. I had to do that, since KDE crashed every time I tried to adjust the time there...
